One of the most damaging beliefs in a health journey is thinking that progress should always be straight and perfect.
So kapag may isang binge episode, stressful week, vacation, timbang na nag-stall, or missed workouts… feeling agad natin “back to zero” na tayo.
And because many people only use the weighing scale as their metric for success, they completely miss the progress that’s actually happening underneath.
But real progress does not look linear.
It looks messy.
It looks human.
It looks like a roller coaster.
Sometimes progress looks like:
• becoming more aware of your triggers
• recovering faster after stress eating
• less guilt around food
• choosing balance instead of “all or nothing”
• eating more intentionally
• not giving up after one setback
Those are not “small things.”
Those are huge wins.
Because the goal is not perfection.
The goal is sustainability.
And honestly? One lapse will never matter as much as your overall pattern.
The people who succeed long term are usually not the people who did everything perfectly.
They’re the people who kept returning, learning, adjusting, and continuing.
Your most important health habit is not perfection.
It’s not quitting. 🤍
