Last November 2025, USCChES had the privilege of conducting the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐑𝐎 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 at 𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗴, 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂, marking the official turnover of the project and a meaningful step toward strengthening access to learning resources for students.

This project was made possible through the partnership of the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰. and the 𝗨𝗦𝗖𝗖𝗵𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰., and with the generous support of our donors and partners. Through this initiative, we were able to turn over around 𝟕𝟓𝟎 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬, and 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 to help build and improve the school’s library. We are also deeply grateful to 𝟒𝐢𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐜. for their generous donation of 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐅𝐢 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, which will greatly enhance digital learning and research opportunities for students.

𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮! [Transparency Report]

On November 25, 2025, the For The Nation Drive officially closed its collection phase. What started as a simple call for help grew into a powerful expression of unity and service for our fellow Cebuanos.

Through our donors' generosity, we raised a total of 𝐏𝐇𝐏 𝟐𝟕𝟕,𝟕𝟐𝟓.𝟐𝟐. Of this, 𝐏𝐇𝐏 𝟐𝟔𝟎,𝟑𝟗𝟑.𝟕𝟐 was spent on relief packs and cleaning materials distributed to affected families in affected areas in Cebu. The remaining 𝐏𝐇𝐏 𝟏𝟕,𝟑𝟑𝟏.𝟓𝟎 has been entrusted to the USCChES Foundation Inc. to be safeguarded for future drives and outreach programs.

The attached table details the donations and the specific areas reached. Each pack delivered is more than just aid, it is a symbol of hope and the strength of a community that chooses to rise together.

As the Christmas season has come and the year draws to a close, we are reminded that the true spirit of giving is found in compassion and solidarity. On November 22, 2025, we carried out the final wave of our relief operations, successfully distributing 𝟐𝟒𝟎 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 to families in 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐚, 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲, and 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐞 who were deeply affected by Bagyong Tino. Of these, 110 relief packs were delivered to Barangay Umapad, Mandaue City, 30 to Barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City, 25 to Barangay Cabadiangan, Compostela, 35 to Barangay Tuhob, Cabadiangan, Liloan, and 40 to Talisay City.

As of November 10, 2025, 1:30 PM, we are proud to share the latest progress of 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 in our united relief efforts for families affected by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) in Cebu. Through the partnership of the University of San Carlos Chemical Engineering Society Foundation Inc. (USCChES Foundation Inc.) and the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers Cebu Chapter Inc. (PIChE Cebu Inc.), we have raised a total of PHP 117,769.22 in monetary donations, along with generous in-kind contributions from compassionate individuals.

Out of the total amount, PHP 91,406.97 has already been used to prepare and distribute packed relief goods. The remaining PHP 26,362.25 will continue to support ongoing aid operations, helping ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most. Every contribution, whether financial or in-kind, has made a meaningful impact on the ground.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and to our brods and sissies who have shared their time, energy, and resources. Your kindness and solidarity continue to bring hope in these challenging times. Let us also keep in our prayers the families who have been deeply affected by this calamity. 🙏💛💙

When the floods reached the second floors of homes, many were left with little more than hope to hold on to.

In the aftermath of Typhoon Tino’s heavy rains, USCChES extended its 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to the communities of Pitogo and Cansaga in Consolacion, and Jubay, Cotcot, and San Vicente in Liloan, including Colorado Homes and Azalea Village, among the hardest hit where floodwaters rose to second floors and homes were left covered in mud.

Relief packs with cleaning materials were distributed to help families begin the difficult task of restoring their homes and their sense of normalcy.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported our For the Nation Drive. Your kindness reached beyond donations; it reached hearts and homes still finding their footing after what many describe as the most devastating flood few ever anticipated.

In partnership with the University of San Carlos Chemical Engineering Society Foundation Inc. (USCChES Foundation Inc.) and the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers Cebu Chapter Inc. (PIChE Cebu Inc.), we have successfully raised a total of PHP 101,269.22 in monetary donations, alongside generous in-kind contributions from compassionate individuals.

From the total funds received, PHP 91,406.97 has already been converted into packed relief goods. The remaining PHP 9,862.25 will continue to support ongoing aid efforts, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most. Every peso and every act of kindness has made a tangible impact on the ground.

Despite the blackouts and flooded streets, the spirit of 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘩𝘪𝘶𝘴𝘢 continues to shine through every act of kindness and volunteer effort.

With hearts and hands willing to serve, USCChES has been repacking and converting financial donations into relief packs at CH2, USC-TC. The 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 has successfully reached affected families in the Talisay and Mandaue areas, a small but meaningful step in our ongoing efforts to help more communities in need.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared their time, effort, and resources to make this possible. Your generosity and support truly keep this initiative going.

Next, USCChES will be heading north to reach more affected areas in the next waves of distribution. Updates will be posted soon as we continue this mission of care and solidarity.

(USCChES Foundation Inc.) and the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers Cebu Chapter Inc. (PIChE Cebu Inc.), we have successfully raised PHP 92,769.22, in addition to generous in-kind donations. 💚

Out of the total monetary contributions, PHP 42,387.23 has been converted into packed relief goods, while PHP 50,381.99 remains allocated to support the next rounds of relief operations for families affected by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) in Cebu.
