Well said sir! π π π
The Virus has led us to be more health conscious and most people concoct something with honey as an ingredient. But how sure are you the honey you use is authentic. Here are some tips:
1. Support local. Buy from your local beekeepers. Make sure they are legitimate. What bees they keep, management and integrity of their apiary (farm)
2. Honey tests. There are no mambojambo googling tests that can say honey is pure. True, Fake and adulterated may all exhibit same character. Only a lab test can really tell, like what AAA did during the honey contest. Samples were examined by the Phil Nuclear Institute. Hence, refer to #1.
3. Supply. Almost all legit beekeepers have limited supply of honey. They cannot afford to sustain resellers because supply is often limited to one season of harvest (once a year). So be cautious of bulk orders that can sustain you for the whole year.
4. Supermarket. Honey sold in supermarkets are often ultrafiltered to prevent granulation(pamumuo). This process also eliminate important components making it uncomparable to raw unfiltered honey often found in local beekeepers.
5. Price. Beekeepers invest alot to keep their bees. Expect it to be higher. Cheap honey often found lately in socmed is too low. Remember: if it is too good, it is no good!
