The Department of Health (DOH) and other non-government organizations have issued urgent calls for a nationwide Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) to vaccinate millions of children aged 6 to 59 months due to rapid surges of measles and rubella cases in 2026.

However, denial and distrust of government immunizations and vaccinations inevitably hinder public health and safety among children.

Hinihikayat ni DR. PAULA BUSTAMANTE-CELESTE, Director ng Philippine Pediatric Society, Central Luzon Chapter, Olongapo - Zambales, ang lahat ng mga magulang at tagapag-alaga ng mga batang may edad 6 hanggang 59 buwang gulang (o bago mag-5 taong gulang) na makiisa sa 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 (MR-SIA) ngayong Agosto.

Pumunta sa pinakamalapit na Rural Health Unit (RHU), Barangay Health Station (BHS), o sa mga itinalagang vaccination sites sa inyong lugar upang mabigyan ng karagdagang proteksyon laban sa tigdas (measles) at rubella ang inyong mga anak.

Tandaan, bawat batang Zambaleño ay mas ligtas at mas protektado kapag bakunado!

Bukas po ang ating health center ngayon, August 6, 2026 (Huwebes), mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 12:00 ng tanghali upang magbigay po ng Doxycycline bilang prophylaxis sa sakit na Leptospiros para po sa mga lumusong sa baha. ♥️

Ang sakit na ito ay nakukuha sa paglusong sa baha o pag-inom ng tubig na contaminated ng ihi ng mga hayop na may leptospira.

𝐏𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬?
✅️ Pag-iwas sa paglusong sa tubig baha at pagiging malinis sa paligiran.
✅️ Kung hindi maiiwasan ang lumusong sa baha, inirerekomanda ang pag-inom ng 𝐃𝐨𝐱𝐲𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞💊 matapos ang paglusong sa baha.

Hindi puwedeng uminom ng doxycycline ang mga 𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬, mga nanay na nagbre-𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝, mga 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐚, at may mga 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 sa gamot na ito.
