KMU IHS Dir Lower Organizes Blood Group Awareness Camp

Dir Lower, December 18, 2024: The Khyber Medical University Institute of Health Sciences (KMU IHS), Dir Lower, organized a highly successful Blood Group Awareness Camp on December 18, 2024. The initiative aimed to educate the local community about the importance of knowing their blood group and its critical role in medical emergencies and health management.

In the camp, students, faculty members, and local community peoples were screened for their blood groups during the event. The faculty and students worked collaboratively, with students providing assistance in screening and sharing information about the significance of blood group awareness.

The Director of KMU IHS, Dir. Lower appreciated the hard work of the organizing team and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in building a healthier and more informed society. Additionally, he emphasizes that the institute continues to uphold its mission of providing quality education and impactful community engagement.
