Today, International Nurses Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at KMU-IHS-BUNER on 12 May 2026. The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony, while students delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the remarkable role and contributions of Florence Nightingale in the nursing profession.

We are highly thankful to our respected guests: Dr. Farooq Sayyar (M.S DHQ Daggar), Dr. Amir Taj Khan, Dr. Sher Mohammed, RNO Saeed Iqbal, and Senior RNO Mr. Mohammed Haroon for delivering valuable lectures on the nursing professional career and guiding our students toward excellence in healthcare services.

Special thanks to Mr. Mukhtiar Ahmad (Coordinator), Mr. Noor Rahman, Mr. Mansoor Ali, and Mr. Suhail Ahmad (Lecturers) for their dedicated support and contributions to the successful organization of the event. Sincere appreciation is also extended to Mr. Hidayat Ullah (HoC) for his facilitation and coordination.

During the ceremony, Dr. Shah Roz, Director KMU-IHS-BUNER, administered the Candle Oath to the students, reaffirming their commitment to humanity and their promise to never refuse care to patients in need. The Director also expressed gratitude to all participants, guests, faculty members, and students for making the celebration memorable and meaningful.

World Autism Awareness Day Celebration at KMU-IHS Buner

World Autism Awareness Day was observed at KMU-Institute of Health Sciences, Buner, on April 02, 2026, with great enthusiasm and commitment to raising awareness about autism.

The event commenced Telawat followed by National Anthem and then with a warm welcome address by Dr. Shah Roz Khan, Director KMU-IHS Buner, who graciously received the distinguished guests and participants.

Dr. Muhammad Ishaq, Senior Paediatric Specialist at DHQ Hospital Daggar, attended as the Guest Speaker and delivered a comprehensive and insightful lecture on autism awareness. Dr. Amir Taj Khan, Senior Medical Specialist at DHQ Hospital Daggar, also presented an informative lecture on the same topic, further enriching the session.

The distinguished guests, along with Mr. Sher Zada Khan, Principal of Alkhair School and College, Dr. Khurshid Alam, Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Coordinator KMU-IHS Buner, and Mr. Mansoor Ali, Mr.Suhail Ahmad Lecturers participated in the distribution of certificates to students and faculty members who contributed to the recent blood donation camp.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad, who expressed his gratitude to all the honorable guests and participants for their valuable presence and contributions.Thanks to Mr.Hidayat Ullah HOC and his team for technical support and cooperation.
