Grateful to Dr. Asghar Essa and the entire Ortho B team for swiftly performing and arranging the emergency surgery for Dr. Aqeel. Alhamdulillah, he is doing well now. Thank you for your expertise and dedication.

We strongly condemn the unfortunate incident in which Dr. Aqeel, an ex-GMCite, sustained a firearm injury at the hands of unknown assailants while heading to the hospital for duty in a village.

The faculty and students are deeply concerned over this tragic event and strongly urge the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of healthcare professionals who dedicate their lives to serving humanity, often in challenging and vulnerable areas.

We stand in solidarity with Dr. Aqeel and his family during this difficult time and pray to Allah for his complete and speedy recovery.
