My 23 years old young patient presented with Hydropneumothorax, Doctors prescribed him I/v antibiotics several times but all in vain.He was referred to me and I did tube thoracostomy and 5OOml fluid was drained and now you can see the last xray on second day of chest intubation..He was diagnosed as a case of Extrapulmonary TB and today he was discharged on ATT.

ADVICE..please do all necessary workup for pleural effusion and avoid unnecessary use of antibiotics unless and untill you have made proper diagnosis
