📢 Important Update for Students Planning to Study Medicine Abroad
For all those Pakistani students who did not pass MDCAT or did not attempt MDCAT, there is now an important update from PMDC 🇵🇰.
According to the PMDC notice dated 5 October 2026, the Council has decided that MDCAT is no longer required as a prerequisite for admission to foreign medical or dental institutions. 🌍🩺
So, if you are planning to pursue MBBS/MD or BDS abroad, not passing or not attempting MDCAT does not prevent you from applying to a foreign medical/dental university on the basis of this particular requirement.
⚠️ Important: This exemption is specifically regarding MDCAT as a prerequisite for admission.
So don't lose hope—there is still a pathway to study medicine abroad. ❤️🩺
Please check the PMDC requirements carefully before applying and choose your university/country accordingly.
