Not all weight gain patterns are the same.🙌🏻

Some women tend to store more weight around the hips and thighs, others around the belly, while some experience a more generalized weight gain pattern linked to thyroid function.

That’s why copying someone else’s diet plan often doesn’t work.

Your body, hormones, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep, and medical history all play a role in how you gain—and lose—weight.

Everyone sees the transformation.

Very few people see the sleepless nights, endless laundry, meal prep, grocery runs, cooking, cleaning, and raising a baby with little or no help.

One year ago, I kept waiting for the “right time” to focus on my health.

But motherhood taught me something important:

There is no perfect time.

As a mom living abroad, I didn’t have a nanny, house help, or hours to spend in the gym.

What I did have was a decision to start with small, realistic habits and stay consistent.

My postpartum weight loss wasn’t built on detox teas, starvation, or quick fixes.

It was built on:
✔️ Protein-focused meals
✔️ Better portion control
✔️ Daily movement
✔️ Consistency over perfection

It’s about healing your body while surviving one of the hardest phases of life.
