گمس گمبٹ میں ڈاکٹر سجاد حسین بھٹی کی قیادت میں گھٹنوں کی کامیاب بائی لیٹرل تبدیلی کا بڑا کارنامہ

پیر عبدالقادر شاہ جیلانی انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف میڈیکل سائنسز (گمس) گمبٹ نے انتھائی جدید آرتھوپیڈک علاج کے میدان میں ایک اور سنگ میل عبور کر لیا ہے۔ یہ کارنامہ معروف آرتھوپیڈک سرجن ڈاکٹر سجاد حسین بھٹی کی قیادت میں انجام پایا۔

گمس گمبٹ کے جدید ترین آرتھوپیڈک جوائنٹ ریپلیسمنٹ یونٹ نے کامیابی کے ساتھ دونوں گھٹنوں کی تبدیلی (Bilateral Knee Replacement) کا پیچیدہ آپریشن کر کے ایک مریض کو تکلیف سے نجات دلا کر چلنے پھرنے کے قابل بنا دیا۔

یہ پیچیدہ آپریشن ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر آرتھوپیڈک گمس گمبٹ کے سرجن ڈاکٹر سجاد حسین بھٹی اور ان کی ماہر ٹیم نے انجام دیا۔

اس سلسلے میں بات کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر سجاد حسین بھٹی نے کہا کہ دونوں گھٹنوں کی تبدیلی ایک انتہائی پیچیدہ اور جدید آپریشن ہے جس کے لیے جدید ٹیکنالوجی، باریک بینی سے منصوبہ بندی اور ماہر ٹیم کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ مریض رمیش لعل دونوں گھٹنوں کے شدید آرتھرائٹس میں مبتلا تھا اور چلنے پھرنے سے بالکل قاصر تھا۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ گمس میں ہم نے ایک ہی مرحلے میں دونوں گھٹنے تبدیل کر کے مریض کو درد اور معذوری سے نجات دلا کر نئی زندگی دی ہے۔ ہمارا مشن 'حرکت کی بحالی، زندگی کی بحالی' ہے۔

ڈاکٹر سجاد کے مطابق ہم گمس گمبٹ میں عالمی معیار کی جوائنٹ ریپلیسمنٹ سرجری، بشمول روبوٹک آرتھوپلاسٹی، بالکل مفت فراہم کر رہے ہیں، ان غریب اور نادار مریضوں کے لیے جو پرائیویٹ اسپتالوں میں لاکھوں روپے کا مہنگا علاج برداشت نہیں کر سکتے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ حکومت سندھ کی سرپرستی اور ڈائریکٹر گمس ڈاکٹر رحیم بخش بھٹی کی قیادت میں گمس گمبٹ پاکستان کا واحد ادارہ بن چکا ہے جہاں گردوں اور جگر کی پیوند کاری سمیت گھٹنوں اور کولہوں کی تبدیلی جیسی تمام جدید اور مہنگی سرجریز بالکل مفت کی جا رہی ہیں۔

Academic Activity at GIMS Gambat

The Department of Cardiology, Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences ( ), Gambat organized a highly informative academic session on Acute Myocardial Infarction ( ) and Unstable Angina ( ) among the most common and important cardiac emergencies for the Final Year students of .

The session featured interactive presentations by the students covering the Acute Coronary Syndrome spectrum, including Stable Angina, with a focus on clinical presentation, early diagnosis and management.

The active participation of students was highly commendable. Souvenirs were distributed among the best presenters to encourage their academic excellence.
