ڈپٹی کمشنر گوجرانوالہ نوید احمد نے محکمہ صحت گوجرانوالہ کے افسران و ملازمین کو نمایاں کارکردگی پر تعریفی اسناد سے نوازا, تقریب ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ اتھارٹی گوجرانوالہ میں منعقد ہوئی۔

ڈپٹی کمشنر گوجرانوالہ، نوید احمد نے نمایاں کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنے والے افسران و ملازمین میں تعریفی اسناد تقسیم کیں۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ اسناد ملازمین کی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں، فرض شناسی اور محنت کے اعتراف کے طور پر دی جا رہی ہیں تاکہ وہ آئندہ بھی اسی جذبے اور معیار کے ساتھ اپنی ذمہ داریاں انجام دیتے رہیں۔

تقریب میں چیف ایگزیکٹو آفیسر، ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ اتھارٹی، ڈاکٹر ارشاد اللہ گورایہ اور ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر (پی ایس) ڈاکٹر عادل ایوب, سیکریٹری ڈی کیو سی بی سونیا ارشاد، ڈپٹی ڈسٹرکٹ افسران ہیلتھ، ڈرگ انسپکٹرز اور بھی موجود تھے۔

ڈپٹی کمشنر نے صحت کے شعبہ میں خدمات انجام دینے والے افسران و اہلکاروں کی کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ عوام کو معیاری طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے اور اس ضمن میں محکمہ صحت کا کردار نہایت اہم ہے۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر نے کہا افسران و ملازمین خدمت خلق اور خلوص نیت سے اپنے فرائض کی ادائیگی جاری رکھیں۔

*Inauguration Ceremony*

*Measles–Rubella Vaccination Campaign 2025*
District Gujranwala – *14 November 2025*

The inauguration ceremony of the *National Measles & Rubella (MR)* Vaccination Campaign 2025 was held at Children Hospital Gujranwala under the chair of the *Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala* . *CEO, DHA Gujranwala, DHO (PS),* DDHOs, Rescue 1122, allied departments, and UNICEF representatives participated.

* The campaign will run from *17 to 29 November 2025* , targeting approximately *797,000* children aged *6–59 months*. A total of *470 outreach teams* and *215 fixed teams* will be deployed. Special focus will be given to high-risk areas.

* The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the district preparations and directed all departments to ensure full support and achieve 100% MR coverage. UNICEF and partner organizations assured full cooperation.

* The ceremony concluded with the formal inauguration of the campaign.

On the directions of the Worthy Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala, anti-dengue activities have been carried out in the flood-affected UCs of Tehsil Wazirabad.

1. IRS Spray
2. Larviciding activities are underway at a fast pace.
3. Active dengue surveillance is being ensured to closely monitor the situation and protect citizens from the dengue threat.
