✅ Essential Grammar Points for OET (Doctors)

1. Subject-Verb Agreement
E.g., The patient has a fever. NOT: The patient have a fever.

2. Tense Consistency
Use past tense for case notes:

"The patient presented with chest pain."

"She was admitted yesterday."

3. Articles (a/an/the)
Use “a” or “an” for nonspecific items, “the” for specific ones:

"She was prescribed a painkiller."

"The pain radiated to the left arm."

4. Modal Verbs (for polite advice/suggestions)

5. Prepositions in Medical Context

"Admitted to the hospital"
