Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association of Pakistan Delegation Meets Honorable Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi

2nd September 2026, a delegation of the Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (NMAP), led by its Founder & Chairman Mr. Muhammad Danish Khan, held a detailed and productive meeting with the Honorable Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi.

The NMAP delegation comprised:

During the meeting, the delegation discussed the export potential of Pakistan’s nutraceutical industry, along with the industry’s tremendous growth over the past twelve years and its increasing contribution towards the country’s economic and export potential.

The delegation also highlighted the challenges being faced by the industry in relation to exports, particularly the difficulties arising due to the closure of the Afghanistan trade route/market, and discussed possible avenues and measures to overcome these challenges.

The Honorable Governor Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the concerns and potential of the nutraceutical sector and assured the delegation of his full support and cooperation, stating that he would be available to facilitate and support the industry in every possible way.

The meeting was a positive step towards strengthening collaboration between the nutraceutical industry and relevant government stakeholders and promoting Pakistan’s nutraceutical sector as a promising contributor to exports, investment, and economic growth.

The establishment of the Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (NMAP) is driven by a clear vision: to bring Pakistan’s nutraceutical industry together under one unified platform, one collective voice, and one shared vision for growth.

For years, the nutraceutical industry has remained largely scattered, despite having tremendous potential. NMAP has been established with the objective of bringing manufacturers, exporters, regulators, experts, and all relevant stakeholders together so that, collectively, we can work towards the development, strengthening, and expansion of this important sector.

Our approach is based on collaboration, consultation, and constructive engagement with regulatory authorities. The challenges faced by the industry should be addressed through meaningful dialogue, mutual understanding, and collective efforts, while ensuring that the industry continues to move towards higher standards of quality, compliance, innovation, and professionalism.

At the same time, Pakistan has significant growth and export opportunities in the global nutraceutical market. It is our responsibility to identify and develop these opportunities, strengthen our manufacturing base, encourage investment and innovation, and work collectively to enhance Pakistan’s presence in international markets.

NMAP envisions a united, progressive, competitive, and export-oriented nutraceutical industry that can contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s economy through increased exports, investment, employment, and sustainable industrial growth.

NMAP Delegation Visits Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Peshawar

A delegation of the Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (NMAP), led by Founder & Chairman Mr. Muhammad Danish Khan, visited the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), Peshawar, on the invitation of its President, Mr. Junaid Altaf

The NMAP delegation participated in a productive meeting with representatives of pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesale distributors, where important matters related to the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors were discussed.

The meeting was chaired jointly from the Chamber’s side by President Mr. Junaid Altaf and from NMAP’s side by Founder & Chairman Mr. Muhammad Danish Khan.

It was a highly productive and constructive session, providing an excellent platform for meaningful discussion, collaboration, and strengthening cooperation between the business community and the nutraceutical industry.

31st August 2026, an official interactive session on the Alternative Medicine & Health Products Registration Rules 2026 was held at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), with the DRAP team representing and conducting the session.

It was a very successful, well-attended, and highly productive session. 150+ company representatives physically participated in the session, while 100+ participants joined online through the Google Meet link.

During the session, the DRAP team delivered a detailed presentation on the upcoming Alternative Medicine & Health Products Registration Rules 2026. A complete demonstration and training of the new registration software/system was also provided to the participants.

The session concluded with a detailed Question & Answer session, where participants raised their queries and received clarifications directly from the DRAP team. It was a highly productive and effective interaction, and we hope that many of the questions and concerns of our members were addressed during the session.

Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (NMAP) KPK Chapter Inaugural Session

21st August 2026, the inaugural session of the Nutraceutical Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (NMAP) KPK Chapter was successfully held, with enthusiastic participation from nutraceutical manufacturers and NMAP members from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It was a highly productive and engaging session, where members actively shared their valuable views, suggestions, and industry concerns. The participation and positive contribution of all members made the session truly meaningful.
