WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PSYCHIATRIST
Founding Medical & Research Associate
Future Head of Medical Sciences and Psychiatry
The Wyne Institute for Brain, Mind, Spirituality and Consciousness is looking for a qualified psychiatrist who wants to become part of a long-term research and institutional mission.
The Institute will bring together:

We are looking for someone who has a strong inner desire to discover something new, understand human psychology and consciousness more deeply, contribute to the betterment of human mental and emotional life, and work towards a larger scientific and humanitarian purpose.
Preferred Profile
* MBBS from a recognized institution
* Valid medical registration
* Specialization in psychiatry
* FCPS Psychiatry, MRCPsych or an equivalent qualification preferred
* Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, neuroscience and brain imaging
* Interest in research, meditation, consciousness and human behaviour
* Willingness to remain associated with the Institute for the long term
Role
The selected psychiatrist will:
* Guide the Institute on psychiatric and medical matters
* Support research involving psychiatry, neuroscience and brain imaging
* Help develop ethical clinical and research protocols
* Assist with case documentation and future academic publications
* Receive suitable psychiatric patient referrals through our network
* Eventually lead the Institute’s medical sciences and psychiatric research division
Nature of Association
This is not a salary-based employment position.
The role does not create ownership, equity or partnership rights in the Institute.
The Institute will:
* Support the psychiatrist’s independent clinical practice through suitable patient referrals
* Allow the psychiatrist to retain the agreed majority of their consultation fees
* Cover necessary and pre-approved expenses related to official Institute work
* Provide opportunities for research, professional visibility and long-term institutional development
Applications are welcome from qualified professionals anywhere in the world.
Candidates based in Pakistan will be preferred because online and in-person collaboration will be easier. However, psychiatrists based in the UK, USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, the Middle East and other regions are also welcome.
Overseas Pakistani psychiatrists who want to contribute their knowledge and experience to a meaningful research initiative in Pakistan are especially encouraged to apply.
