At the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), the Patients' Aid Foundation introduced a new initiative at the hospital's complimentary food facility, Ta'amgah, ensuring year-round access to clean, safe drinking water for all patients, visitors, and staff. An ultra-filtration water purification system was installed, with twelve water dispensers on the ground floor and five on the first floor, providing continuous access to purified water at all meal times.

This essential enhancement was made possible through the generous support of an anonymous donor, who reached out to the Foundation with a profound sense of compassion. Completed just before Ramzan 2026, it offered everyone the comfort of cool, pure water to break their fast during the holy month, while continuing to serve as a reliable source of hydration throughout the year—a thoughtful gesture that embodies the dignified and caring spirit of PAF's mission. May Allah bless the donor with abundant reward in this life and the next for this selfless act of kindness.

Dr. Tariq Mehmood had the privilege of addressing the cadets and faculty at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul on 12th August 2026. His talk, titled Living a Meaningful Life, explored the deeper dimensions of purpose, integrity, and service—values that resonate deeply with the ethos of the Academy.

The session, held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, was attended by 1,700 cadets and 300 faculty members. It was followed by a thoughtful question-and-answer segment, where Dr. Tariq engaged with the audience on topics ranging from personal growth to the role of compassion in leadership.

We are honoured to have had this opportunity to share our experiences with the future leaders of Pakistan, and we remain grateful to PMA Kakul for the invitation and warm hospitality.

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology manages an annual caseload of over 21,000 Obstetrics cases, conducting nearly 65 deliveries each day. Approximately one out of every ten newborns necessitates intensive care. Previously, the JPMC faced challenges with an inactive neonatal nursery due to the absence of essential equipment. However, due to the benevolence of an anonymous donor, the department has undergone extensive renovations and is now equipped with eight incubators, four infant warmers, a digital X-ray machine, and sustained operational funding. The establishment of this new Neonatal ICU (NICU) is a pivotal advancement in ensuring timely and effective newborn care. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the donor and all contributors for their invaluable support in making this possible.

The OPD-Opthamology at JPMC was built by The Patients Aid Foundation (PAF) in 1996. Furthermore we revamped its Operation theatre complex where all the patients undergo a thorough assessment in order to determine a further course of treatment and types of surgical procedures.
Eyesight disability is three times more likely to occur in poor than affluent people, so Patients Aid Foundation directed its efforts towards renovating and expanding the operations of Ophthalmology ward at PAF-JPMC introduced a contemporary OPD department for children and adults with a further classification for separate male and female areas. Ophthalmology OPD is funded by our valuable donor, Mrs Fatehma Habib, in the memory of her husband, Mr Habib Mohommadali (HM Habib) in August, 2018.

PAF has employed five qualified eye consultants and a number of technicians/ technologists for successful operations management of Vitrectomy machine, surgical microscopes, and Cataract Surgeries. PAF has taken full responsibility to supply any number of pediatric lenses needles. The OPD and Surgical Complex at PAF-JPMC is a significant facility that serves thousands of patients on a daily basis. The complex comprises two floors—the ground floor and mezzanine—each with separate entrances, and houses a number of OPD clinics across various medical specialties.

These two floors were generously donated by Hilton Pharma, through the Sardar Yasin Malik, Shahbaz Malik, and Shahid Malik family. We are deeply grateful for their continued support.

The complex also accommodates a pharmacy, our healthcare department, and the Fundraising Committee office on the mezzanine level. The facility is maintained to high standards of cleanliness and order, reflecting the care and respect we strive to offer every visitor.

We hold our donor family in high regard and pray for their continued blessings and well-being.
