EOC Monitor *Sana Jaan* visited UC Kharadar.

A meeting was conducted with UCSP Zaryab, where the micro plan was checked and reviewed for the upcoming polio campaign.

After that, a visit was conducted with CBO Nazia to *Kutyana Memon Hospital*. A meeting was held with the hospital *CEO(MR AKHTER)*. The fixed site letter was shared, and discussion was done about setting up a fixed vaccination site. It was also discussed to plan an awareness session with doctors.
After meeting visited the EPI center, where the vaccination register was checked. The OPD of the hospital was also visited.

Later, a visit was conducted to *Aga Khan Janbai Hospital, *(Liyari town khadda memon)* where a meeting was held with vaccinator *Ms Zubeda.* The daily vaccination register was checked.

It was observed that most parents prefer vaccination from Aga Khan Janbai Hospital. Ms. Zubeda was requested to guide parents to also get their children vaccinated by door-to-door teams during the campaign.
Overall, the visit was useful and focused on improving planning and vaccination activities.

Meeting was conducted with Madam Sarwat from City District School. During the meeting, discussion was held about the upcoming polio campaign and the campaign letter was also shared with her.
Madam Sarwat informed that the school has recently reopened after construction. She said that the admission process has just started, and once admissions are completed, they will ensure proper vaccination of all enrolled children.

HTH refusal convincing activity was conducted in the above-mentioned areas. During this activity, a total of 7 refusal households were visited, including 2 *PMC (Persistant Missed Children)*
The parents were counseled about:
*The importance of polio vaccination*

*The safety and benefits of repeated doses*

*The upcoming polio campaign date were shared*

*Outcome:*
All refusal parents gave a positive response and assured that they will allow their children to be vaccinated by the polio teams during the campaign days.

*Invitation for DC Office Meeting Regarding NID April Campaign*

Date 7 -04-2026

Today, a meeting was conducted at Bantwa Hospital with Sir Akram (MS of Bantwa Hospital) regarding the upcoming NID April 2025 campaign. During the meeting, he was invited to attend the meeting at the DC Office on 11 April. The campaign letter was also shared with him.
He nominated a staff member from the administration who will attend the meeting, and their contact details were also collected.
The same letter was also shared at Kutyana Hospital, and they were informed that they should ensure participation in the DC office meeting and provide their focal person for coordination.

A visit was conducted with *EOC Monitor Ms. Sana Jaan at The Learning Tree School* *(Day Care Centre)*
A meeting was held with the school principal, *Madam Almas.*
During the meeting, we discussed that *partial vaccination was done in the February campaign.* We explained the importance of complete vaccination in the upcoming campaign.

The campaign letter was shared, and the campaign dates were also told. We requested to complete vaccination in the first two days of the campaign.

*Madam Almas agreed and said that teams can come on 13 April and 14 April at 9:00 AM for vaccination* .

We also discussed about Qamber Clinic. Madam Almas suggested that an outreach vaccination site should be set up two days in a week at the clinic. This will help in improving routine vaccination.

*Conclusion:*
The meeting was successful. The school management is supportive, and good planning is done for vaccination.

A meeting was conducted with Ex-Councilor Ms. Fareeda *(lady influencer)* from MQM Pakistan, The meeting was conducted with CM Saira.

During the meeting, details of recorded refusal cases from Gow Gali were shared, as Ms. Fareeda is also a relative of one of the refusal family

Ms. Fareeda said that she will discuss the matter with Mr. Rizwan *(Refusal father)* and will convince the family. She assured that during the first visit, she will encourage them to accept vaccination from the team.
Overall, she showed her support and commitment to help in refusal conversion.

Gow Gali
Refusal data was shared with influencers, and they agreed to support in resolving these cases.
3. Strategy for Refusal Conversion
Influencers will contact refusal families 2–3 days before the campaign to convince them and highlight the importance of polio vaccination.
4. Security Support
UCSP Zaryab raised security concerns.
Mr. Khurram assured full support during the campaign.
5. Communication Strategy
WhatsApp groups and other platforms will be used to share campaign messages and create awareness in the community.
Influencers’ Commitment
All influencers assured their full support for the upcoming campaign.
They agreed to work together to reduceme refusals and build trust in polio vaccination.

A meeting was conducted with Mr. Asif Jojey and Mr. Atif Norani yesterday. During the meeting, details of last campaign recorded refusals and still chronic refusal family details were shared.
They were requested to support mosque announcements for the upcoming campaign in khagzi bazar and gow gali area and were also invited to attend the UPEC meeting.
Both influencers assured that they will fully support the campaign, as they have done in previous campaigns.

A meeting was conducted Yesterday with the *Chairman of Rah Welfare Trust, Mr. A. Qadir Norani* regarding the upcoming OPV campaign. During the meeting, the challenges faced in the last campaign, especially in Ali Akber Lane, were discussed in detail.
We also discussed arranging a CVS point in the Punjabi Club area to improve vaccination coverage.
Mr. Norani assured his full support during the campaign and agreed to cooperate in all possible ways to make the campaign successful.
