The Faculty of Professional Psychology proudly marked a strong presence at the 16th International Conference of the Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA), held on 25β26 July 2026 at Faletti's Hotel, Lahore. The conference brought together leading psychologists, researchers, practitioners, and educators from across Pakistan under the theme "Harnessing Collective Action for Social Change: Integrating Psychological Science, Policy, Practice and Community Well-Being."
The Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Bahria University Karachi, was ably represented during the Quick Insight Session II panel discussion on "Building Resilient Communities Through Collective Psychological Strategies." The Institute's perspectives were shared by Dr. Kiran Bashir Ahmad, Director/Principal, and Prof. Dr. Tahira Yousuf, contributing to the national dialogue on strengthening community resilience through psychological science.
Prof. Dr. Uzma Masroor, Dean, Faculty of Professional Psychology, also chaired a scientific session during the conference, reaffirming the Faculty's continued commitment to advancing psychological science, professional practice, research, and policy at the national level.
