Cutting people off is not always rooted in hatred sometimes it is simply an act of self respect and emotional maturity. Some people slowly drain your spirit some lack sincerity some carry hidden faces behind kind words and some only stay around when it benefits them. The longer you remain connected to such energies the more you begin to lose your peace your clarity your focus and the quiet happiness your soul once carried so naturally.

Not every distance is cruel. Sometimes walking away becomes necessary for your own well being. Protecting your inner peace is not selfishness it is survival in a world where genuine loyalty and pure intentions have become rare.

You are allowed to outgrow people who no longer align with your heart. You are allowed to leave conversations that feel heavy relationships that feel forced and connections that constantly disturb your peace.

Choosing yourself does not make you cold hearted. It simply means you have finally realised that not everyone deserves permanent access to your energy.

Some separations hurt deeply but they are necessary because after a certain point the soul starts craving peace more than people.
