Heat stroke can be dangerous, but prevention is simple.

Drink plenty of water

Avoid direct sunlight during peak hours (10 AM β 4 PM)
β
Wear light, loose, and breathable clothes
β
Stay in cool or shaded places
β
Use sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats
β
Check on children, elderly people, and pets
β οΈ Warning Signs of Heat Stroke:
β’ High body temperature
β’ Dizziness or confusion
β’ Nausea or vomiting
β’ Red, hot, dry skin
β’ Fast heartbeat
β’ Fainting or unconsciousness
π¨ If someone has heat stroke:
Move them to a cool place
Cool their body with water or wet cloth
Give small sips of water if conscious
Call emergency help immediately
Seek medical attention as soon as possible
Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Stay safe.
