Nisar Charsi Tikka is one of the famous dumba shop in peshawer which is 50 years old where one can have namkeen ghost and dumba karhai cooked in traditional way. First you have to decide how much meat you want to eat, you can not order less than a Kg, next you go the next step in which you have to decide which part of meat you like for yourself. Remember they will add a chunk of fat while weighing meat because they use that fat for cooking which also gives a great taste to food. Cooking time starts after that which is minimum an hour meanwhile you can enjoy their local kawa. The grilled namkeen ghost taste great but its not as tender as we get in punjab and there are also chunks of fat which make the meat more juicy. The karahai is above average which is used to cook with tomato , black pepper and salt along with the dhumba’s fat and served with naan. In the end you can have kheer as dessert which tastes good. Last not the least you can have kawa again in the end. Most important price is very reasonable which is 2200 per kg. Nisar Charsi Tikka is a must try if you visit Peshawer and is recommended.

Among a lot of high end coffee shops in Lahore , Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf established since 1963 is one of the good one because of its unique taste and ambience. Coffee have a bit different improved taste as compared to other companies. My recommendation is to go for a double shot of hot coffee of any flavour. Their cold ones are good too . The slices of cakes, fresh and creamy are of great taste but you can not ignore their muffins and brownies which are cheap as compared to cake’s slice but worth eating. Blueberry Muffin is my favourite one with double shot cappuccino coffee at main boulevard Gulberg Branch. Luxury has a peice so its bit expensive but Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf is recommended

Jaida Lassi , one of the famous one from the walled city of Lahore. The shop is currently run by the grandson of Jaida Sahib. Elderlies of walled city say that the taste is not same as it was in time of Jaida but still the creamy thick buttery lassi make it a very special one for which there is no alternative. To get this lassi you have to wake up early in the morning and reach gumti bazar and get a token and then wait for your lassi , it may take a lot of time, minimum 30 -40 minutes may be longer, but its worth waiting for it and cost is just Rs 130 in disposable glass.Remember if you go after 8 am may be you will not get it. Jaida Lassi is recommended

We visited Ranchers as we were told that its a cheaper version of Howdy but actually comparison of Ranchers should be done with low profile burgers of howdy i.e Stingers etc . Well the place has a good ambience but poor taste of food , the beef patty had a slight odour of the meet which was dry as well. The buns are big in size but they do not have any extra ordinary taste. Their fries were average but they do not had variety of drinks present at that time. Most important we went for the cheaper version but parking around Mall 1 costs you at least 150 Rs . So the Ranchers is not recommended.

Kudo’s Caff, one of the best resturants for steak lovers located in a basement with good ambience. They offer both chicken in the form of poultry grill as well as beef steaks along with different variety of burgers. In starter only dynamite chicken is above average . It is recommended for all types of its beef steaks especially when you make it special by selecting Parmesan Crusted which is extra cheese in slow cooking. Always select medium well and dont go for their fancy drinks because they are below average. Just go for coke or any other regular soda or mineral water. Another plus is its a bit ecnomical as compared to other steak houses. Kudo’s Caff is recommended only for beef steaks.

A copy of Subway, with more variety of vegetables like broccoli, turnip etc and kidney beans, chick peas as add on other than regular things available at subway. They have a vast variety of menu as compared to Subway like pannis, fries etc and also 9 inch sub named as Grande. The variety of chicken is almost same but on no grounds you can compare this with subway both in term of quality and taste. The price is almost equivalent to the Subway. I will not recommend this over Subway.

Hardee’s one of the international chain currently providing fast food in Pakistan had enough standards and taste at the time of launch few years back but over time i think the standards have fallen down in term of their chicken burgers and fries. There only recommended burger series in ANGUS, which is still worth eating. Hardee’s another drawback is that they have removed fries from combo which make it an epensive fast food if you add on them. I also like to mention here that their burger buns freshness varies among different braches of lahore so i will recommend Gulberg Branch only . Last hardee’s is giving discounts on different cards so pay through them to make this meal a little bit cheap. Hardee’s is only recommended for ANGUS beef burgers.

Rafeeq Butt urf Chacha Feeka is one of the oldest lassi shop of Lahore since 1947. Feeka’s special lassi is called Peeray Wali Lassi, which has peera of khoya at buttom and one peera of butter which is floating on the top , while lassi is not thick as compred to other traditional lassis, you can eat as well as drink this lassi. You have to develop a taste for this kind of lassi to enjoy it and it is a little bit heavy but people of Lahore especially old Lahore can tolerate this well. This Lassi is one of the best lassi shops of Lahore and it is recommended.

Khan Baba one of the oldest resturant of Lahore. Taste of Mutton Karhai and Mutton Chops was excellent. Mutton Qeema Naan was very good as well as Mint Raita. However Chicken Kababs were just above average. However it is recommended for its mutton cuisines.
