Part 3 — and this one hits the heart. Alam Lohar passed away in 1979 — suddenly, unexpectedly. Arif was only 13. All seven of his brothers eventually settled in the UK. But Arif Lohar stayed. In Pakistan.

In Punjab. With his father’s chimta and the Jugni that the world had not yet fully heard. He did not choose the easy path. He chose the right one. This is what loyalty to your roots looks like. 🤍🎶
