Add these to your diet instead of refined carbohydrates:

Complex Carbohydrates:*

1. Whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat bread)
2. Vegetables (broccoli, spinach, bell peppers)
3. Fruits (apples, berries, citrus fruits)
4. Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, black beans)
5. Starchy vegetables (sweet potatoes, corn, peas)
6. Whole grain cereals
7. Oats
8. Barley
