🇵🇰 Independence Day Celebrations 2026

14th August was celebrated through the power of sport, unity and national pride as Pakistan Sports Board, under the leadership of Director PSB Coaching Center Lahore, Ms. Noorish Sabah, and Rd. Rizwan Aftab Ahmed, CEO ACTIVIT & Director National Hospital DHA Lahore, joined hands for a shared commitment to celebrating Pakistan’s Independence.

As part of this initiative, an MoU was signed between Pakistan Sports Board and ACTIVIT for the celebration of Independence Day through sporting activities and national engagement.

The celebrations brought together athletes across boxing, wrestling, cycling, football and weightlifting, creating a platform to recognise the discipline, determination and achievements of Pakistan’s sporting talent.

Athletes and participants were honoured with certificates, cash prizes, awards and trophies in recognition of their performances and contribution to the sporting spirit of Pakistan. 🏆

The celebrations were dedicated to the martyrs of Pakistan, our Armed Forces, and the makers of Pakistan — remembering the sacrifices that gave us our freedom and honouring those who continue to protect and build our nation.

🇵🇰 ACTIVIT Jashan-e-Azadi Cycling Race 2026 🚴‍♂️

On 13th August, the spirit of freedom took to the road as ACTIVIT, in collaboration with UGI and the Pakistan Cycling Federation, brought athletes and cycling enthusiasts together to celebrate Pakistan’s 79th Independence Year.

From the national flag being raised to the Independence Day cake cutting, the day was filled with pride, passion and sporting excellence. 🏆

ACTIVIT honoured the participants and winners with medals, awards, cash prizes and certificates, recognising their dedication, discipline and love for the nation.

This celebration was dedicated to the martyrs of Pakistan, our Armed Forces, and the makers of Pakistan — those who sacrificed, served and built the nation we proudly call home.

The PAKMMAF ACTIVIT Contender Series was created from a shared vision of Omar Ahmed, President of PAKMMAF, and Rd. Rizwan Aftab Ahmed, CEO ACTIVIT & Director National Hospital DHA Lahore to build a sustainable pathway for Pakistan's Mixed Martial Arts athletes by creating meaningful opportunities, identifying emerging talent, and preparing competitors to represent Pakistan on the international stage.

It was an honour to welcome these exceptional athletes and personalities to ACTIVIT Headquarters, in recognition of their dedication, achievements, and contributions to the continued growth of MMA in Pakistan.
