A Chinese-developed tile-laying robot is designed to automate repetitive flooring work, particularly across large open spaces where consistent placement and alignment are critical.

Using a mobile platform, the system can handle several steps of the process, including preparing mortar, navigating the work area, lifting tiles with a suction mechanism, and positioning them with reported accuracy of around ยฑ0.5 mm.

๐Ÿ“Š Manufacturer testing reportedly indicates that the robot can cover up to 120 square meters per day while potentially reducing labor requirements by more than 60%. Actual performance, however, can vary depending on site conditions, tile layouts, and installation requirements.
