Got it. Simple words, like I’m talking to you over chai ☕
*What makes a good teacher in 2026:*
*1. You care*
You notice if a student is sad, tired, or confused. You don’t just teach books. You see people.
*2. You are patient*
Some kids need you to explain 5 times. You don’t get angry. You try a new way to explain.
*3. You are fair*
You treat all students the same. Topper or weak student, rules are same for everyone.
*4. You love your subject*
If you enjoy teaching it, students will enjoy learning it. Your energy spreads to them.
*5. You help, not just lecture*
You don’t talk for 40 minutes straight. You give them work, let them try, then help them fix mistakes.
*6. You listen*
When a student asks a question, you really listen. Even if the question sounds silly.
*7. You keep class safe*
Students should not fear you. They should feel ok to ask questions and make mistakes in your class.
*8. You keep learning too*
You don’t know everything, and that’s fine. You learn new things with your students.
*9. You believe in every child*
You don’t say “you are weak”. You say “you can do it, let me help you”.
*10. You are honest*
If you make a mistake, you say sorry. Students respect that a lot.
That’s it. No big words. Just be a good human first, teacher second.
