*DC Larkana Visits PPHI Regional Office Larkana*

*Larkana, 13 May 2026:* Deputy Commissioner Larkana, Tariq Manzoor Chandio, visited the Regional Office of the Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Larkana.

Regional Director PPHI Larkana, Zuhaib Islam Abbasi, along with District Manager Sanaullah Mangi, Junaid Ahmed Soho, and other officials, received him.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected the Regional Office, reviewed the record section, and chaired a meeting on ongoing PPHI matters in Larkana District.

The Regional Director briefed that PPHI is managing 90 health facilities in the district, including 3 Taluka Hospitals, 4 RHCs, 28 BHUs, and 55 Dispensaries. For better monitoring and supervision, these facilities have been divided into two operational zones.

The RD briefed that all facilities are providing OPD, MNCH, EPI, Family Planning, and Emergency Services free of cost. The average daily OPD attendance is 4,200 patients.

He stated that 18 facilities require minor repairs/renovation. Solarization of 22 BHUs under ADP has been completed.

DC Tariq Manzoor Chandio said that PPHI is a key partner in primary healthcare delivery, especially in rural areas. The district administration will provide full support to resolve administrative and logistical issues. He emphasized zero tolerance for absenteeism and directed that facilities remain open during notified hours. He appreciated the staff working in remote areas and urged them to improve patient satisfaction. He said that some dispensaries should be established in urban areas to reduce the patient burden on tertiary care hospitals. At the end, he thanked the PPHI management for the warm welcome.

Today, the Worthy Regional Director, Dr. Zuhaib Islam Abbasi Sb, conducted an official visit to FC THQ KN Shah, accompanied by the District Manager Dadu, Dr. Altaf Mangi Sb.
During the visit, the Worthy RD Sir personally observed the new enrollment process to ensure efficiency, transparency, and proper record management.
RD sir also inspected the FC building and tent setup at FC.
The Worthy RD Sir appreciated the dedication and hard work of the staff who are performing duties in the tent despite hot weather and limited resources, while continuing smooth BNP service delivery.
Furthermore, the Worthy RD Sir directed to ensure additional space arrangements for the FC in order to facilitate smooth operations and improve service delivery.

Visit of Regional Director Larkana to SGH Naudero

Today, Respected Dr. Zuhaib Islam Abbasi Sb, Regional Director PPHI Sindh, along with the Regional Team Larkano, visited (SGH) Hospital Naudero.

During the visit, respected RD Sb carried out a detailed inspection of all departments of the hospital. He stressed the importance of swift and timely delivery of healthcare services to patients and highlighted several key areas for improvement in management and operations to ensure better service quality.

*CSG Meeting 21 April 2026 at BHU Miandad Chinjni District Kamber*

A CSG meeting was conducted at *BHU Miandad Chinjni* by the PPHI District Kamber team. The meeting was attended by *Respected District Manager Mr. Muhammad Ibraheem Narejo Sb, Ex:M&E Mr. Waseem Brohi, Mr. Fahad Mehrab (Social Organiser), and Health Facility Incharge Mr. Ghulam Qadir Buriro* along with all relevant staff.

During the meeting, the progress of the health facility for the previous month was presented. Updates were also shared regarding the ongoing major *Repair & Renovation (R&R) work.*

*CSG members* were given the opportunity to express their concerns and suggestions. Key issues discussed included the shortage of medicines and the demand for both Male and Female Medical Officers.

The *District Manager Sb* assured all participants that recruitment is expected in the near future, and efforts will be made to ensure the provision of doctors across the district on a priority basis.
