Optometry is an independent and regulated healthcare profession. As an optometrist, you'll be a primary healthcare provider for the eye and visual system, offering comprehensive care that includes vision exams, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and rehabilitating visual conditions.
