Fever after vaccination is usually a normal and expected response.
It means your child’s immune system is learning to fight serious diseases.
🔹 Why does fever occur?
Vaccines safely activate the body’s defense system. This immune response can cause temporary fever, body aches, or mild irritability.
🔹 Is high-grade fever dangerous?
Most post-vaccination fevers settle within 24–48 hours and are not harmful. However, high-grade fever (≥39°C / 102°F), persistent fever, or excessive crying should never be ignored.
🚨 Seek immediate medical advice if your child has:
High-grade fever
Fever lasting more than 48 hours
Poor feeding or lethargy
Convulsions or unusual behavior

🔹 بخار کیوں ہوتا ہے؟
ویکسین جسم کے حفاظتی نظام کو متحرک کرتی ہے۔ اس قدرتی ردِعمل کے نتیجے میں عارضی بخار، بدن درد یا بے چینی ہو سکتی ہے۔
🔹 کیا تیز بخار خطرناک ہوتا ہے؟
اکثر ویکسین کے بعد ہونے والا بخار 24 سے 48 گھنٹوں میں خود ٹھیک ہو جاتا ہے اور نقصان دہ نہیں ہوتا۔
تاہم تیز بخار (39°C یا 102°F سے زیادہ)، بخار کا برقرار رہنا، یا بچے کا غیر معمولی رویہ نظرانداز نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔
🚨 فوراً قریبی ڈاکٹر سے رجوع کریں اگر بچے میں:
تیز بخار ہو
48 گھنٹے سے زیادہ بخار رہے
دودھ پینے میں کمی ہو یا سستی ہو
دورے پڑیں یا رویہ غیر معمولی ہو
