NeuroNest Autism Centre is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our professional team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience
• Experience working with pediatric and adult clients
• Good clinical and assessment skills
• Ability to plan and provide effective therapy sessions
• Good communication and parent-counselling skills
• Professional, punctual, and responsible

Sometimes progress begins with just one little sound. ❤️

When he first joined Neuronest Autism Centre, he was completely non-verbal and did not imitate words. Today, seeing him begin to imitate sounds and words is a beautiful milestone in his communication journey. 🗣️✨

Imitation is an important early building block for learning, interaction, and language development. Through consistent, individualized, play-based intervention and meaningful interaction, we continue to create opportunities for him to connect, communicate, and learn. Research also supports naturalistic developmental approaches for improving social communication and language skills in autistic children.

It may be one word today, but it represents so much growth. 🌱💙

At the beginning of therapy, this child was non-speaking and had limited ways to communicate needs and wants. With consistent speech therapy, we worked on building attention, understanding, imitation, and functional communication.

Today, those small steps are turning into meaningful ways of expressing needs, making requests, and connecting with others.
Speech therapy helps children build meaningful communication step by step—from learning their first words and naming familiar objects to using those words to express what they want and need. Each new word is a step towards functional communication.

Fruit Adventure Day at NeuroNest Autism Centre 🍉
What a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and togetherness! ❤️
Our children explored different activity stations, learned about fruits through fun experiences, and enjoyed every moment with their parents and therapists. Watching their excitement, confidence, and happy faces made the day truly special.
These activity days are more than just fun—they help children build communication, social, sensory, and everyday life skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. They also give parents a chance to be part of their child's learning, celebrate small achievements, and create memories that last.
A big thank you to all our wonderful parents and our dedicated NeuroNest team for making this day such a success. Here's to creating more moments where every child learns, grows, and shines.
