A 62-year-old male, a known case of chronic kidney disease on maintenance dialysis, presented with an epidural abscess causing mass effect on the adjacent spinal cord. Due to significant comorbidities, the patient was deemed unfit for general anesthesia and surgical intervention by the neurosurgical team. Therefore, the patient was referred to interventional radiology for CT-guided aspiration and drainage of the epidural abscess.

Under CT guidance and strict aseptic precautions, a percutaneous needle was advanced into the epidural collection. Successful aspiration and drainage of the abscess were performed without immediate complications. The procedure resulted in satisfactory decompression of the epidural collection.
