Karachi 07.08.2026: The Balochistan Healthcare Commission (BHCC) participated in a 4-day HealthWISE Training of Trainers on Occupational Safety and Health Hazards in Healthcare Establishments, organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

The training brought together representatives from the Balochistan Healthcare Commission, Sindh Healthcare Commission, and Employees' Social Security Institutions (ESSI) Hospitals to strengthen knowledge and build institutional capacity for promoting safer and healthier workplaces across healthcare facilities.

Quetta 06.08.2026: On the directives of Chief Exective Officer Balochistan Healthcare Commission (BHCC), the team conducted a follow-up visit to Al-Nasir Hospital, Quetta.

The purpose of the visit was to review and assess the deficiencies that had been identified during the previous inspection and to evaluate the progress made by the hospital toward meeting the requirements for the grant of a Provisional License.

During the visit, the BHCC inspection team carefully assessed the corrective measures implemented by the hospital management and reviewed the level of compliance with the Commission's regulatory standards. Such follow-up inspections are an integral part of BHCC's licensing process and reflect the Commission's commitment to promoting safe, quality, and patient-centered healthcare services throughout the province.

Quetta 05.08.2026: The Balochistan Healthcare Commission (BHCC) team conducted a field inspection at Saleem Medical Complex, Quetta.

During the inspection, the BHCC team inspected 02 Medical Laboratories and 01 X-Ray Centre.

Enforcement Actions Taken: 01 Laboratory was sealed due to regulatory violations, 01 X-Ray Centre was issued a notice with immediate stoppage of services and 01 Laboratory was served a compliance notice for violations of the BHCC Regulations and non-compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Balochistan Healthcare Commission remains committed to ensuring that all healthcare establishments operate in accordance with the Balochistan Healthcare Commission Act, 2019 and the BHCC Licensing and Anti-Quackery Regulations, 2024, with the objective of protecting patients, promoting quality healthcare services, strengthening clinical governance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across the province.
