Dopasi Foundation recently handed over an AI-equipped device for TB screening to the Federal Government Tuberculosis Centre (FGTBC). The device is capable of predicting TB presumptive cases in X-ray images within 30 seconds.
The developed AI model, TBXNet, utilizes deep learning techniques to analyze large datasets of chest X-ray images and clinical information to detect patterns indicative of TB infection.
The device was presented to Dr. Imtiaz Memon - Medical Superintendent, FGTBC, Rawalpindi by the Special Secretary of Health, Mr. Mirza Nasir Ud din Mashhood. Dignitaries from various organizations also attended the event.
