کیا گھٹنوں سے ٹک ٹک یا چٹخنے کی آوازیں آنا کسی بڑی بیماری کی علامت ہے؟
Do your knees pop, click, or crack when you bend them, stand up, or climb stairs? Many patients panic when they hear these sounds, fearing their bones are breaking or their joints are deteriorating.
Here is the medical truth: If the clicking sound (Crepitus) is completely painless, it is usually harmless. It is often just nitrogen gas bubbles naturally bursting in the joint fluid or a tight ligament snapping over a bone.
However, if the cracking sound is accompanied by PAIN, SWELLING, or a "catching" sensation, it is a serious warning sign! This means your protective cartilage is wearing out, and bone is painfully grinding against bone (an early sign of Osteoarthritis or a Meniscus tear).
Don't ignore painful knee cracking! Watch our latest video as Dr. Muhammad Usama Akram explains what these sounds actually mean and how modern non-surgical treatments can restore your smooth joint movement.
