Insulin resistance is one of the most ignored reasons behind weight loss struggles.
Many people feel like they’re doing everything right, eating healthy, working out, and trying their best, but still not seeing changes on the scale. This is where insulin resistance may play a role.
In insulin resistance, the body’s cells stop responding properly to insulin. As a result, blood sugar levels remain high, and instead of using sugar for energy, the body starts storing more of it as fat, which can lead to weight gain and difficulty losing weight.
