After completing his optometry internship at Khairun Nisa Eye Hospital in January 2026, Faraz Ali returned to his hometown in Usta Muhammad, Balochistan, with a vision to serve communities that had long remained without access to eye care.

Today, he has established a primary eye care center named serving more than 100 villages and an estimated population of 700,000–800,000 people.

In the first days of operation alone, Faraz witnessed the immense need for eye care, identifying numerous cases of refractive errors, uncorrected glaucoma, traumatic cataracts, and other conditions that had previously gone undiagnosed.

While he treats the minor concerns and refractive error in his clinic, he is working closely with the team at Khairun Nisa Eye Hospital. Faraz ensures that patients requiring advanced diagnosis, treatment, or surgery are referred promptly to KNEH. Through continuous coordination with the hospital staff, his patients receive timely support and access to the specialized care they need, strengthening the link between community-based primary eye care and tertiary eye care services.

His journey reflects the true purpose of the internship program at Khairun Nisa Eye Hospital: not only to train professionals, but to empower them to bring quality eye care to underserved communities while building a sustainable referral network that ensures no patient is left behind.

Because when training meets purpose, one individual can create lasting change for hundreds of thousands of lives.

السلام علیکم!
کیا آپ کو کبھی آنکھوں کے سامنے چھوٹے چھوٹے دھبے، کالے نقطے، باریک دھاگے یا مکھیوں جیسی چیزیں اُڑتی ہوئی محسوس ہوتی ہیں؟
اگر ہاں، تو اسے عام زبان میں “Eye Floaters” کہا جاتا ہے۔
Eye Floaters دراصل آنکھ کے اندر موجود جیلی نما مادے میں ہونے والی تبدیلیوں کی وجہ سے نظر آتے ہیں۔
یہ اکثر بڑھتی عمر، نظر کی کمزوری (خاص طور پر Minus نمبر)، یا بعض اوقات آنکھ کی اندرونی تبدیلیوں کی وجہ سے ہو سکتے ہیں۔
کچھ لوگوں کو یہ معمولی مسئلہ ہوتا ہے، لیکن اگر:
✅ اچانک Floaters بہت زیادہ بڑھ جائیں
✅ روشنی کی چمکیں (Flashes) نظر آنے لگیں
✅ نظر دھندلی ہونے لگے
✅ یا نظر کے کسی حصے پر پردہ سا محسوس ہو
تو فوراً آنکھوں کا معائنہ کروائیں، کیونکہ بعض اوقات یہ سنجیدہ مسئلے کی علامت بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔
