Today’s feast places before us the mystery of who we are, who we are called to become, and the eternal destiny for which God created us.

It reminds us of our sacred history, of where we come from and of God’s saving work throughout the generations. It reveals our calling in the present: to become God-bearers, temples of the Holy Spirit, bearing Christ within us and making His presence known through lives transformed by grace. And it turns our eyes toward the life of the age to come, when the salvation given to us in Christ will be revealed in its fullness - not only in the soul, but also in the body.

For our hope is not merely the immortality of the soul, but the resurrection of the whole person, restored and transfigured by the grace of God into eternal communion with Him. Repent (re-orient) in at least one way today!

Every time a person goes to confession, it’s like there is a party in heaven, all the angels are celebrating the return of one of God’s children. We know the story of the Prodigal Son - the Father through a celebration to celebrate his son’s safe return. God, our Father, has the same reaction when we return.

Make daily repentance part of your life, meaning focus on at least one thing each day that you want to do better, focus on one way you can grow closer to God and to your neighbor each day, and God will be rejoicing for you and with you as well.

Faith is choosing to trust God even when life doesn’t make sense.

When the path feels uncertain and the answers haven’t come, faith calls us to keep believing, keep praying, and keep trusting God with what we cannot control.

Ask yourself:
📍Where is God asking me to trust Him more?
📍What am I still afraid to surrender to God?
📍Can I trust God even when I cannot see what He is doing?
📍Am I allowing my circumstances to speak louder than God’s promises?

Following Lord Jesus Christ is not always the easy path - it is a journey of faith, sacrifice, and hope.

Lord Jesus Christ invites us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him, trusting in God’s promise of eternal life.

There comes a moment when we realize that what we’re truly searching for isn’t found in success, approval, or endless striving. It’s found in surrender.

In Christ, we discover a freedom that no achievement or circumstance can give - a peace that brings us home.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on what true freedom really means.
For so long, I thought freedom was about having control, meeting expectations, or carrying everything on my own. But I’m learning that real freedom isn’t found in striving - it’s found in surrendering to God. When we place our burdens in His hands, we don’t lose ourselves; we become who He created us to be.

Lord Jesus Christ never asked us to carry the weight of this world alone. He simply says, “Come to Me.” And in Him, we find the peace, purpose, and rest our souls have been searching for all along.

No matter where you are in your journey today, know this: you are deeply loved, never forgotten, and God’s invitation is always open. His grace is enough.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28 ✝️
