O congresso mundial de saúde mental organizado pela World Federation of Mental Health juntou participantes e oradores dos 5 continentes.
Aconteceu em Barcelos, cidade que acolheu como o norte acolhe, e surpreendeu pelos seus espaços públicos e passeios ribeirinhos.
Da riqueza e diversidade das comunicações, destaco aqui o seguinte takeaway:
“A desumanização constrói-se, estimula-se intencionalmente, sem culpa, sem moral e sem ética. É um ato consciente de “não querer saber”. Esta é a pandemia do ódio dizia Bertran, sem meias palavras. E acrescentava que “ Ser escutado é o 1º direito antes de ser medicado.
Foi neste contexto que apresentámos a comunicação “What Makes Health Coaching Satisfactory for Coachees? Evidence from a Pro-Bono Intervention”, sempre com o propósito de promover o potencial e o impacto desta prática e seus intervenientes.

The World Mental Health Congress, organized by the World Federation of Mental Health, brought together participants and speakers from 5 continents.
It took place in Barcelos, a city that surprised us with its public spaces and riverside walks.
From the richness and diversity of the presentations, I highlight the following takeaway:
*“Dehumanization is built, intentionally stimulated, without guilt, without morals, and without ethics. It is a conscious act of 'not wanting to know'. This is the pandemic of hate,” said Bertran bluntly. And he added that “Being listened to is the first right before being medicated.”
It was in this context that we presented the communication “What Makes Health Coaching Satisfactory for Coachees? Evidence from a Pro-Bono Intervention”, always with the purpose of promoting the potential and impact of this practice and its actors.
