Behind every fertility journey are two people carrying hope, questions, and sometimes heartbreak.

After recurrent pregnancy loss, the focus often falls mainly on the woman, but fertility is a shared journey. In selected cases, looking at s***m DNA integrity may help complete the picture.

This is not about blame. It’s about listening, investigating both partners, and making sure no important question is overlooked.

If you’ve experienced repeated pregnancy loss, you deserve compassionate care and a thorough, personalized evaluation. We’re here to walk that path with you. 🤍

Did you know?

Combined oral contraceptives are classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as Group 1 carcinogens. This classification means there is sufficient evidence that they can cause cancer in humans—but it does not mean the risk is the same as every other Group 1 carcinogen.
What the evidence shows: • A small increase in the risk of breast, cervical, and liver cancer with long-term combined pill use. A reduced risk of ovarian, endometrial, and colorectal cancers. • Every woman's health profile is unique, and treatment decisions should always be individualized.

At The V Clinic, we believe informed decisions come from understanding the complete picture—not fear or misinformation. Our goal is to provide evidence-based guidance so you can make the best choices for your health.

Book a consultation to discuss your contraceptive options and personalized risk profile.

🧬 Can a father’s exercise habits influence the health of his future children?
New research in epigenetics suggests that a father’s health before conception may play a bigger role than we once thought.
Exercise, diet, sleep, stress and overall health can affect biological signals carried by s***m. These signals may influence how certain genes work in the next generation without actually changing the DNA itself.
A 2025 study found that paternal exercise influenced endurance related traits in offspring through tiny molecules in s***m called microRNAs.
The message is simple. Taking care of your health today may benefit not only you, but your future children too. 🧬

Ever feel exhausted but still unable to switch off?

For some people, that pattern is not just emotional, it can also be biological. The COMT gene plays a role in clearing brain chemicals involved in focus, energy, and stress. When that process is slower, the brain can stay in a more alert state for longer than it should.

That can look like a mind that keeps going, a body that struggles to fully relax, or nights where sleep comes lightly and rest never feels complete.
On the other hand, when COMT works too fast, it may leave some people feeling flat, foggy, or low in motivation.

The goal is not to label yourself — it’s to better understand what your body may be asking for.
At The V Clinic, we use these insights to create more thoughtful, personalized care that supports your brain, your nervous system, and your overall wellbeing. 🤍
