When I soften, breathe, and stop forcing, the body responds with less pain.

I remember how small I felt standing among the mountains.

There was a lot of peace up there.
A kind of clarity that didn’t come from thinking things through, but from being present.

Maybe that’s why I fell in love with the mountains. Steady, quiet, and resilient.
In many ways, they reminded me of who I am. 🏔️

“𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.”

I still remember the first time I saw these words when I arrived in Doha. Everything was new, unfamiliar, and I was starting over without really knowing how things would turn out. Somehow, that simple sentence brought so much comfort.

On this last day of 2025, I hope these words offer the same reassurance to anyone who needs it as we step into a new year.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who crossed paths with me, who chose to open up to me, who trusted me with their stories, their pain, and their courage.

Being allowed to walk alongside you on your healing path is the most meaningful work I’ve ever known.

Therapy has never been about changing the past, it’s always about changing our relationship with it. And in doing so, creating more space, compassion and freedom in the present.

Here’s to new year, and being a little kinder to ourselves and to others along the way.
