🎤 I had the pleasure and honor of participating successfully as a speaker at the 102nd meeting of the European General Practice Research Network (EGPRN), held at the impressive Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona 🇮🇹, under the theme “Continuity of Care Now and in the Future”.

🤝 It was a great joy to reconnect with dear friends and valued colleagues from the European primary care research community, together discussing the current challenges and the future of continuity of care across Europe 🌍.

📚 The meeting represented a truly inspiring professional and personal experience, full of new ideas, collaborations, and motivation for future international projects. 🇪🇺

🎓 I had the honor to participate in the National Conference of the Romanian Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology as moderator and invited speaker in three scientific sessions dedicated to family physicians.

🏛️ The sessions were held with full attendance and addressed highly relevant practical topics included in the European POCUS training curriculum promoted by EFSUMB, WONCA and EUVEKUS.

🩺 The presentations focused on the applications of ultrasonography in family medicine, ultrasound-based rapid patient assessment algorithms, abdominal and thyroid pathology, as well as the use of the E-FAST examination in primary care.

📚 The event highlighted the growing interest in integrating clinical ultrasonography into daily family medicine practice and the importance of standardized POCUS training.

👏 Congratulations to the organizers and all colleagues involved for delivering a high-quality scientific conference, excellently organized and with remarkable educational impact!

An intense and successful activity of the Ultrasound Excellence Group has just concluded, with our participation including one workshop, two oral presentations, and one poster at the EURACT European Conference, held these days in Iași, Romania. 🎯📊

I had the honor to contribute as leader of the Ultrasound Working Group, actively engaging alongside trainers, family doctors, general practitioners, and medical students from across Europe and beyond, in a high-level academic environment. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🌍

The conference theme, “Teaching Tomorrow’s Family Doctors: Keeping patients close at heart in the digital era,” offered valuable perspectives on how we can integrate technology while preserving the essence of the doctor–patient relationship. ❤️💻

It was an inspiring experience, full of idea exchange, best practices, and international collaboration, contributing to the continuous development of family medicine education. 🤝📚

“The Role of the General Practitioner in the Follow-up of Patients with Heart Failure”

✔️ Continuous monitoring saves lives
✔️ Guideline-directed therapy (ESC, AHA/ACC) reduces mortality
✔️ The GP = central coordinator of patient care
✔️ Multidisciplinary collaboration is essential

🤝 The round table with specialists from Romania and Serbia highlighted the importance of teamwork in heart failure management

📈 Together, we are building a modern care model: prevention → diagnosis → treatment → follow-up

Today in Timișoara, we witnessed a powerful example of what collaboration in healthcare truly means.

An important event dedicated to family physicians was organized by the Romanian Society of Cardiology, with the support of the National Society of Family Medicine, bringing together a large and engaged community of professionals committed to better patient outcomes.

👏 A sincere thank you to all family physicians who participated and contributed to advancing one of the most pressing public health priorities: hypertension control in Romania.

💡 Mission 70/2030 places family physicians at the heart of this effort — as the first point of contact, coordinators of prevention, and long-term partners in patient care.

🤝 This initiative is part of a broader national movement, supported by a strong alliance of stakeholders, including patient organizations — a clear signal that sustainable change in healthcare happens only through partnership.
