For every employee who biked to work or completed a 35 km ride, we made a dedicated donation to . This amazing charity provides reliable bicycles to people in developing regions, helping them access education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

When a child’s brain doesn’t naturally signal the instinct to breathe, every day becomes a careful balancing act.

Eva was diagnosed at birth with Ondine's Syndrome, a rare genetic defect also known as . Her mother recently sat down with us to share what it takes to navigate childhood when rising CO2 levels fail to trigger a natural physical response.

For Eva's family, the priority is ensuring she experiences a fulfilling and joyous childhood. According to her mother, this requires constant vigilance.

It means carefully adapting her milestones. The family traded school track meets for closely monitored horseback riding. Through it all, they maintain an unwavering resilience that redefines what looks like.

They refuse to let medical equipment limit their travels. Whether sleeping in a tent, a church, or a stable, they find a way to make it happen. "There has never been a limit where we said, 'We can't do this,'" her mother shares.

Her story is a profound reminder of the strength required of families living with complex, life sustaining needs. Our goal in sharing this is simply to amplify her voice and raise awareness for the reality these families face every single day.
