I don’t know if you can recognize the feeling. When universe creates some kind of experiment of your life and how much you’ll tolerate and how close you are to trust and acceptance.

I remember when I sat in a conversation with a therapist and I said that I don’t have the energy to process anymore, I just want my brain to shut the h*ll up and have it quiet just for a little bit. That I miss how life felt when it was flowing.
The answer was something I held on to, that when that feeling comes, that you want to give up, shut down, lay down in bed and pull the blanket over your head, that’s when you’re close to a breakthrough. And maybe trust and acceptance is one way of coming even closer to that breakthrough. To trust that life still has a plan for you even when its hard and when you listen to the signs, however small they are, they are a little step away from that space you’ve been looking for.

Because you don’t want to go back. You want to evolve to a new part of you with your experiences in your back-pack. Kind of like a Pokémon🤷🏼‍♀️.

So, I don’t know if you needed this right now but it’s just a reminder. If you feel that Universe, God or whoever/whatever you believe in is messing with you right now.

Believe me. It’s for a reason.

It takes a village to raise a…

Yep, not only a child.

It also takes a village to create a support system for ourselves during really hard times in life.
A village that knows when to listen and how, how to support you, when to push you and when to hold you.
And for the moments to cheer you on and celebrate with you when life is at its highest.

And yet some people are sitting there alone. Trying to figure stuff out alone. Because it’s not easy to invite the village in when you are in the middle of pain.
There’s the fear of being too much. The fear of being the one who brings the mood down. The fear of being the one who spreads heaviness instead of light.
So we stay quiet. We hold back. We wait until we’re “better”. Until we feel easier to be around. And have gained all the important insights to share.

I still do it. I did it recently. And I say that knowing I have gathered and built the most amazing support system around me.

People who care. People who want to help. People who would listen.

And maybe that’s the thing.
That being “too much” is maybe just something our own mind comes up with. Or maybe protections we built for ourselves after being hurt before.
Maybe a pattern we picked up from someone else and it’s not even ours.

Maybe letting someone in doesn’t mean burdening them. Maybe it’s how connection actually happens. Not being alone. Or being alone together.

Because we’re not meant to do “life” alone. And sometimes the bravest thing isn’t to hold it together but to let it out.

To ask for help. To allow the village to exist and do it’s work.

Can you recognize the feeling?
When you’ve activated your body and feel the hum moving through every cell and the mind grows quiet.

The body and our mental health are deeply connected. They are regulated by the same nervous system. When we don’t take care of our mental health, the body can become unwell. When we don’t take care of the body, our mental health suffers.

That doesn’t mean you need to be an athlete, or dive into your deepest inner world to feel good. Of course not.

But it does mean becoming aware of the signals.
Both from the mind and the body.

They whisper first.
If we listen, they don’t have to scream.

A lot of what we call stress doesn’t start in the mind — it starts in the body.
Tiny tensions, shallow breaths, unfinished patterns the nervous system keeps running.

Neuroscience shows that when a stress response doesn’t complete, the brain keeps reading the body through old predictions. That’s why neutral signals can feel like pressure or worry.

The good news: these patterns can change.
Through intentional movement and clear sensory input, the body gets new information — and finally lets go. ✨

This Saturday we explore exactly that in Move With Ease.

We talk a lot about mental health but rarely about how it lives in the body. Every emotion, every stress response, every pause leaves a trace. Your body remembers even what your mind has moved on from.

Through conscious movement and somatic awareness, we can help the body release what words can’t, and create new patterns of balance, safety, and ease.

In my work, I combine movement, body awareness, and reflective coaching to reconnect body and mind supporting emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Slow down. Breathe. Move. 🍃
