I’m so relieved and happy today to receive results that I’ve passed the Level 1 Singapore Sign Language (SGSL) course by .sg !

I’ve got super high exam anxiety, and also thanks to my busy schedule managing my business, I rarely have time to revise 😢 so I’m really thankful for the excellent and patient guidance from my instructor Hina, and encouragement from my best friend as well as those of you who know!

I’m now one step closer to my dream of working closer with different groups of People With Disabilities (PWDs), in an organisation/foundation that I hope to establish in my later years.

This course has taught me not only SGSL, but the Deaf culture locally and abroad, and I would strongly encourage you to consider taking SGSL to enable better communication and engagement with the deaf, and to also be a friend to the deaf community.

I’m so honoured to have been a part of the creative team for the musical Chachambo: Taking Flight. It was an amazing journey that showed me the beauty of the indomitable human spirit, regardless of ability.

For the first time, I choreographed for PWDs of varying disabilities, including the visually-impaired, with one common aspiration - to perform at a professional level. They did amazingly and I’m so proud of how they stood up to the challenge and slayed it.

Thank you .dis.singapore for giving me this opportunity to be the lead choreographer for a musical of such importance to you, and for giving me the inspiration to keep working with these beautiful souls!

Thank you for also acquainting me with amazing, empathetic individuals - trainers, sign interpreters, volunteers and teachers - who show me their care for PWDs in their respective roles, giving us all more hope for humanity.

To more spectacular shows in the (near) future!

Hello Beautiful People! Sorry I’ve been so busy I haven’t had the time to create and upload this post! This workshop was designed out of the inspiration I got from serving all of you for the past couple of years. I’ve identified that a key need for most of us in achieving our desired life is to enhance our self-love. As much as there are plenty of resources out there for advice on how to improve our self love journey, sometimes we do get stuck with “blockages.” Let my sister and I, hereditary witches, help you out with rituals that will help you unblock your path towards self love, all the way into smoother manifestation!
