Yesterday we had a live durian testing at Chinatown and we were totally amazed by the quality of the durians .

There were a few types of durians available and we tried MSW and Red Prawns .. they are so creamy and inexpensive .

Home cook made Otak Bun (Halal Certified)

This is the first homemade Otak bun review, the strong aromatic otak are released once u open up the hot pot meant for the steaming process and the bun is totally soft and sweet and this is mixed with a strong dose of spiciness from the otak that threatened to burst out of the bun !

Had a craving for big prawn noodle so wonder around and found this wonderful place with super good and friendly staffs ... ordered the $18 ###L prawn noodle ... waiting time was decent and they even allow me to have my own drinks which I am pretty amazed by it since many other eatery outlets do not allow "outside food" .

Waited for 5 mins , the food came and it does look very tempting .. most likely because I'm hungry .. ha ... took a slip of the soup ... the first impression was ... not the best but much better than others I have tasted before . And next took a bite on the big prawns ... felt that its a little hard ...... but the aromatic taste is there 😋. The soup is not alot but they allow refill of soup ... thats actually a super plus point which I truly appreciated ...

The noodle was not too bad but I felt the instant connection between the soup and the noodle was not available, I have tried other whereby the noodle and the soup can really blend as one when you eat them ...

Nevertheless , I noticed the all the staffs from the kitchen to the cashier are all pretty young .. not those old timers I came across , maybe this could be a passed down recipe. My overall impression was pretty good but the main down side of the whole experience was parking ... I had problem trying to find a parking lot, gotta walk quite a distance .

I will definitely return for another meal again !
