Menurut Mazhab Syafi’i, Maliki & Abu Hanifah, bekam tidak membatalkan puasa, selagi mana ia tidak melemahkan tubuh sehingga menyebabkan seseorang terpaksa berbuka.
Dalilnya adalah hadis dari Ibnu Abbas r.a., bahawa Nabi SAW berbekam dalam keadaan berpuasa (HR Bukhari).
