Every recovery is different — natural birth or C-section, breastfeeding needs, allergies, sensitivities, health considerations, and even taste preferences can all affect what may be more suitable.

That’s why we don’t believe in simply giving every mother the same herbs in the same quantities. We prepare each confinement package after understanding her needs, with attention given to the herbal combination, quantity, and overall programme.

What an incredible evening at the NHB Board Engagement 2026, held in conjunction with the dazzling Singapore Night Festival! 🌙✨

It was truly inspiring to hear from Ms. Chang Hwee Nee ( CEO/National Heritage Board and Chairperson/HeritageSG ) as she shared visionary insights during her speech about the ongoing growth, evolution, and community impact of our local heritage landscape.

A special milestone for this year's engagement was the exclusive showcase highlighting innovation and industry progress. Out of many, only two invited companies—proud beneficiaries of the Organization Transformation Grant—were selected to display their completed, cutting-edge products. Witnessing firsthand how these grants translate into tangible, real-world impact was a true highlight of the night!

You don’t just learn about TCM — you see it, touch it, smell it, taste it… and make your own herbal drink! 🌿🥤

We had a wonderful afternoon welcoming HSEU members and SG Culture Pass participants to Heng Foh Tong for a fun, hands-on journey into the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

From discovering herbs and TCM culture to getting our hands busy making our own herbal concoction, it was TCM beyond the textbook — an experience! 🙌

And yes… no exam was involved! 😂

A special thank you to MOS Rahayu Mahzam, HSEU and BBE for making this meaningful collaboration possible, and to everyone who joined us.

You have probably stood in a shop holding two packets, wondering whether they are really any different. 🤔

We understand. They both say confinement herbs. They both have the same names printed on the label. One costs less. The decision feels easy until you tip them out side by side.

Look at the colour. Fresh goji is deep and translucent, not brownish and shrivelled. Fresh longan is plump, not brittle. Fresh sliced roots are pale and clean at the edges, not dry and dusty. Aroma is the honest test that packaging cannot fake, and after a few months in a sealed bag, that aroma is largely gone. So is a good part of the benefit.

Confinement is one month. One month to rebuild blood, warmth and strength after your body has done something extraordinary. It is far too short a window to spend it on herbs that peaked long before they reached you.

This is why our packages are dispensed only after you order, and customised to you your birth type, your lactation needs, your medical conditions, your allergies, even your taste preferences. Because no two recoveries look the same, and no pre-packed box can know that. 🌿

Grade AAA Raw peach gum arrives to us is already remarkable, and the first job is sorting, bit by bit and by hand, sorting out only the crystal clear ones that no machine bothers to catch.

When we bottle into HFTea, each piece will continue to swell into soft, transparent bloom you will recognise after close scrutinization.

We’ve watched this transformation for three generations in our Bukit Batok medical hall, and it still gets us every time. From something you might walk past on a shelf into something that feels like being looked after.

That journey is exactly why not all peach gum drinks are created equal. It takes time, patience, and care to prepare peach gum properly, and those are steps we simply refuse to rush.

A fresh batch has just been produced and is on our shelves now, chilled and ready for these warm Singapore afternoons. ☀️ These tend to move quickly, especially in this weather.
