🥳These are cane sugar new year rice cake that I've experimented using different designs.
I've made close to 100 pieces, both big and small.
I sincerely want to all my friends and customers who trusted me and order without requesting for taste sample before order. 🙏

😍I am an absolute nian gao rice cake lover. I eat it throughout the year since little. But this year is the very first time I decided to make some and accept orders after I improvised it using the highest quality ingredient and make this rice cake comes with health benefits. 💪🏼👍🏼

Traditionally, this new year goodie is made with caramalizing white sugar, which has little or no health benefits. In fact white sugar is known as a legallized drug. ☠️

By using genuine cane sugar to replace white sugar, not only does it contains health benefits, it turns out chewy n aromatic, leaving a sweet aftertaste.

Eating too much brown sugar that contains additives can cause damage to the body. The quality of brown sugar in the market varies, how to distinguish it?

1) 闻 Smell: 👃
Authentic pure sugarcane brown sugar smells like sugarcane, not greasy, and has no peculiar smell.

The blended (:fake") brown sugar smells sweet and greasy without sugarcane and is accompanied by other peculiar smells (the merchants misleadingly call it a burnt smell)

2) 看 Look: 🥸
Authentic pure sugarcane brown sugar only uses sugarcane as raw material without any additives. The appearance is yellow-brown or reddish-brown. Sugarcane has red skin and green. The color of each pot will be slightly different.

Fake brown sugar is added with pigments to cater to customers, the color is darker, and different batches of sugar can be hooked into the same color

3）汤 Liquid: 🧉
The color of authentic pure sugarcane brown sugar syrup is brownish yellow or brownish red because it is boiled from pure sugarcane, it looks thicker

🧇🍳🥐Great way to savour them would be to them like how we a or bread. You can even send them to an oven and it for a couple of minutes.

Or simple it with a little oil to get that layer of crisp on the surface. Remember to cook the in low medium heat/ temperature. 🥞

Experimented with a more complimented design. Nian Gao rice cake simply too tender and chewy for this Mold design. Texture and aroma still very good. See my tooth marks? I just eat it plain the moment I unmold it.
"Ugly-looking" and failed niangao give to buddies. 🤪😝😁
