Narcissists mistreat you and change the story to make you the villain. They will lie without shame, twist your words, and paint themselves as the wounded party, all while chipping away at your confidence and peace. They'll isolate you from others, convince mutual friends you're unstable, and rewrite history to suit their narrative. To the outside world, they often appear charming and charismatic, but behind closed doors, their cruelty and manipulation can be relentless.
They know exactly what they’re doing—creating confusion, planting doubt, and making you question your own memories. They play the victim so convincingly that you begin to wonder if you really are the problem. That’s their power: distorting reality until you feel powerless.
But here’s what they can’t control: the truth. The truth has a way of rising, even after being buried for years. And while it may seem like they walk away untouched, free from consequences, karma does not forget. It moves quietly, patiently, and with perfect timing.
Eventually, people begin to see patterns. The lies unravel. The charm wears off. The damage they’ve caused starts to follow them. And what once looked like control begins to crumble. Because you cannot build a life on broken truths and expect it to stand.
So don’t worry. Don’t waste your energy seeking revenge or trying to convince others of your side. Time reveals character. Let them tell their version of the story—it won’t change who you are. Stand tall in your integrity, keep your heart open, and continue healing. The universe has a way of restoring balance, and those who inflict pain without remorse will eventually answer to it.
You are not the villain. You were simply the mirror that showed them what they didn’t want to see
