Healthy longevity education should not be a privilege, it should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial background.

The Healthy Longevity Talent Incubator (HLTI) is built on this belief, creating opportunities for talents from around the world by reducing financial barriers and fostering a truly global community in geroscience and precision geromedicine.

As an alumnus, He Qian gained exposure to leading experts and a network that shaped his path. Today, as a researcher at the Academy for Healthy Longevity, he continues contributing to research that aims to improve how we age and live.

There are many others like him, ready to make an impact if given the opportunity. Your support helps make this possible.

At the One Health Summit in Lyon, Prof. Andrea Maier joined global leaders for a panel on “Using data to ensure system resilience and efficiency,” exploring how health data and technologies can reshape the future of care.

Together with leaders across economics, public health, and industry, the session reinforced a clear message: building sustainable and inclusive health systems starts with better use of data to drive prevention, reduce inequalities, and strengthen resilience at scale.

Prof. Maier highlighted healthy ageing as both a pressing public health priority and a key economic challenge, underscoring the role of biomarkers and data in enabling earlier, more targeted interventions. She also emphasised the critical connections between environment, ageing, and global health, and the need to adapt healthcare systems to rapidly ageing populations within a One Health framework.

What was discussed strongly aligns with the mission of the Academy for Healthy Longevity: advancing prevention, leveraging data-driven insights, and building more sustainable, inclusive health systems for ageing societies.

We are living longer, but not necessarily healthier. Closing the gap between lifespan and healthspan requires a new generation of researchers and healthcare professionals trained in geroscience and precision geromedicine. The Healthy Longevity Talent Incubator (HLTI) from NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity was created to do exactly that. By bringing together a global, multidisciplinary cohort and providing access to leading experts, mentorship, and real-world experiences, HLTI equips participants with the knowledge and networks to drive change in how we approach aging.Christian Sotelo is one of them. Before joining HLTI, he was unaware of the opportunities in this field. Through the programme, he gained exposure, built connections, and found his direction. Today, he contributes to this work as a Research Assistant at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of MedicineThere are many others like him, ready to step forward if given the opportunity.Your support helps expand HLTI’s reach and train the next generation of leaders in healthy longevity.
